![]() I remember the days of GPM where I would put on "Im Feeling Lucky" radio and it would dive into a pop punk playlist with deep cuts and all the tunes I had forgotten I loved during highschool. It feels like its trying to sell me music and decide what I should like, more than its trying to figure out what I actually like. Now, I listen to Green Day's 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours album once for nostalgic reasons, and YTM thinks "welp, might as well add Basket Case and Time of Your Life to every playlist". I recall someone saying when we moved to YTM, all of the things GPM learned about you were scrubbed which is why you had to repick fav artists, etc. It pulled deep cuts, it felt like it actually knew me and my tastes. GPM's radio stations and algorithms were what made the service magical to me. ![]() But unfortunately I dont think they will or can fix it now. That is the first thing I noticed when we were forced to change over and the #1 thing I wish they would fix. GPM's algorithms were vastly superior to YTM. ![]()
